KYOTO FLORENTIS, 2025
Being empty or full?
From an aesthetic point of view, ma corresponds to the sensibility for the beauty of empty spaces and surfaces (yohaku no bi), which is of great importance in various Japanese art genres. Zen masters refer to it as “painting by not painting”, meaning the balance of form and emptiness that characterizes many masterpieces of Japanese art.
Nature transforms the mountains into pastel palette of colours and scents. The spring will come in White and pink...
I choose to print My new project 2025 with hand made paper Khadi from south India.
KHADI RAG PAPERS are made in Karnataka, South India at our paper mill, KHADI PAPERS INDIA.
They are made from 100% cotton rag. Cotton rags have longer fibres than linters which are the short fluffy fibres of the cotton seed often used in papermaking. Genuine rag papers are rare and it is the fibre length of this raw material that gives Khadi rag papers their exceptional strength and durability.
