Kyoto Florentis, E&C 2025

In my work, I use photography combined with painting to tell stories. By blurring the boundaries between painting and photography, I bring closer the separate boundary between dreams and reality. I believe that the things that fascinate me while traveling around the world and that remain with me as meaningful symbols are important, eye-catching, and modest stories of everyday life. We all have images and perspectives that tell us a story. My work finds the dream of reality, transforming melancholy into rich colors and golden hope. The essence of my spirit, my birth and upbringing emerges as an artistic tone, drawn from the nature of southern Switzerland and the mental images of the ancient European painting tradition. Natural pigments and paints, gold and silver leaf, oil paint and lacquer are used in combination with photography as part of creative endeavors.
