KYOTO FLORENTIS

Dans mon projet, je souhaitais explorer les liens entre mes créations contemporaines et le patrimoine culturel et historique.

Le contexte, le paysage, la spiritualité.

Les visages d'« Oshiroi », comme celui d'une jeune maiko, ou d'une mystérieuse geisha prête à vous envelopper telle une brise légère parfumée d'encens.

I would like to recreate the atmosphere of my childhood, when my father gave me, as a souvenir of a precious and profound moment, a book with ancient Japanese engravings (ukiyo-e (浮世絵, ukiyo-e, literally "pictures of the floating world") and a bookmark depicting a geisha painted and embroidered with Japanese silk, which accompanied me in my curiosity to learn about such an ancient and fascinating culture. (Today I think I succeeded, I am proud and very grateful).
