Geiko, Kyoto 2025, My "Site-specific" storytelling
Kyoto Florentis, 2025
The concept of fullness and emptiness is essential in my visual narrative, as it sensitively evokes the fulkrum of my narrative. Between rooms filled with seasonal herbs and flowers, blank areas appear, covered with photos of maiko encountered on a special occasion in Kyoto. This figure is one of the most authentic symbols of Japanese tradition, a living cultural heritage. Fullness and emptiness intertwine in a symbiotic relationship, seeking a balance that seems to dance in space. The essence of the story reveals to everyone the almost invisible hidden parts of the narrative. It is as if what one perceives when viewing a work of art is not immediately apparent, but only emerges later and enriches and completes the authenticity of my pictorial story.
Dialogue between different landscapes. Kyoto 2025
Between painting and photography, I approach the border between reality and dreams.

Linee morbide, stratificazioni, texture raffinate.
Colori e atmosfera: tonalità cipria, oro, cremisi, indaco. Luci soffuse, ombre poetiche, atmosfera sospesa.
